For this Fall 2025 limited release, we've matte finished our 7075 aluminum hub shells for the richest Maple colour treatment yet. We have a limited number of 32 hole front and rear hubs on hand to ship out for early orders, and we're going to sell through until December 1st. Backordered hub sets will be sent to anodizing once the order window has closed. Backordered hubs should ship to buyers in late December/early January.
Customization: You pick your endcap and 6-Lock flange colours from our standard selection. Due to the matte finish on these hubs, standard Maple end caps and 6-Lock flanges will not be an exact match to these shells. We recommend black or silver. Please add your preferred colour to the order notes, or we will ship black endcaps as a default.
Project321's G3 Hub Set
Our approach with G3 was to build a hub that strikes the ideal balance between strength, weight, reliability, and efficiency. The result of this design philosophy is a robust and efficient hub set with instant, rock-solid engagement.
Engagement
G3 hubs use the same 72 tooth drive ring and three-step magnetically actuated pawls as our proven G2 hubs. To increase engagement without compromising reliability we added two additional pawls instead of miniaturizing the teeth on the drive ring and pawls. A total of eight pawls work in teams of two, to give 1.25° or 288 points of engagement. We believe this gives riders the ideal balance of instant engagement and rock-solid reliability.

6-Lock
6-Lock is a new patent pending technology by Project321. 6-Lock is an enhanced six bolt design that features stainless steel bolt threads. No lockring is required, only T25 Torx hardware, giving the rider true six bolt rotor retention. 6-Lock easily converts to center lock, giving you unrestrained brake rotor optionality. watch how.
G3 Front Hub are made with aerospace grade 7075-T6 aluminum, one of the toughest metals for hubs on the market. All hubs come in 1 of 12 vivid colours and are fully anodized to look as good as they perform.
If using center lock rotors, external spline lock rings must be used. G3 hubs are not compatible with internal spine lock rings.
