At the heart of G3Ti is a new titanium freehub body, replacing the aluminum freehubs used on standard G3 and RG3 hubs. Titanium provides an exceptionally tough and strong platform designed to handle the increased torque of today’s e-bike motors, giving you long-term durability you can rely on.
Engagement
G3Ti hubs use the same 72 tooth drive ring and three-step magnetically actuated pawls as our proven G2 & G3 hubs but is now mated to a titanium freehub body to increase strength. To further increase the strength of the engagement, a total of eight pawls work in teams of four, to give 2.5° or 144 points of engagement. We believe this gives e-bike riders the ideal balance of instant engagement and rock-solid reliability.
More Robust Bearing Layout
G3Ti hubs feature an additional double row bearing in the outboard side of the freehub to add strength and durability to our axle layout.
Center Lock rotors require the use of external spline lock rings. G3Ti hubs are not compatible with internal spine lock rings.
